Very bright, installation was easy in the spot where we had an older fluorescent tube unit.

I never write reviews, but I felt like this could really help a few folks, so here goes. Before ordering this light I was hopeful that other reviews/questions/answers were wrong and that the color temperature of the light, while variable, could be “locked” into a set temperature. Well, sadly, those reviews were correct. This light (or at least mine) cannot be set to a permanent temperature following the instructions provided or any other of the thousand combinations of turning the switch on/off that I tried.So, I reached out to AntLux’s customer support asking what I was doing wrong. They replied within 24 hours (on a weekend) implying that I wasn’t doing anything wrong, but provided me with instructions on how to re-wire the light so that it always stays on the color temperature I wanted. I’m pretty handy with electrical wiring, so I gave it a shot (after killing the breaker of course).They told me to cut the black and white wires going to each LED strip, then to connect the black and white wires from the power supply to the white wire of the LED strip and leave the remaining black wire disconnected (red wire stays as-is)…repeat for the other side. Turns out it worked…sort of. That configuration locks in the 5000k setting, but I wanted the 3000k setting. So, I emailed them back to confirm I should instead connect the black and white wires from the power supply to the BLACK wire of the LED strip to get the 3000k setting. They confirmed, I swapped the wire nuts, and now it’s set on 3000k.I’ve included some photos showing the two configurations with the first photo showing the wires secured back in place to avoid casting down a shadow. The left row of LED’s are the 5000k ones, while the right row are the 3000k ones. The only thing I didn’t figure out was how to get the 4000k setting. I have a theory about how to achieve that, but (to avoid any liability) I’d recommend contacting AntLux if that’s the temperature you want.To do this mod, I used needle nose pliers, wire strippers/cutters, electrical tape, 2 wire nuts and some good common sense and patience. All total, it took about 20 minutes (including the time it took to do both configurations.Obviously, I wish the instructions for setting the temperature would have worked, but having good customer support saved me from having to pack this light up (after installing it), ship it back and start hunting for a different 4-foot LED fixture with a set temperature of 3000k (and this was about the only one close that I could find before buying this one).As far as the light itself, I really like it. It’s half the width of my previous 4-bulb fluorescent fixture and puts out just as much if not more lumens…at a warmer temperature setting too! Now I just hope it lasts 5-10 years, but we’ll see.

I installed this in my bathroom to replace the existing neon light light. It works Great with no humming ballast. Only drawback is it was listed as adjustable but it wasn’t.

Easy for a pro to install

I needed to hardwire, so these met the need. I like the look of the lights. Two negatives....the plastic covers don't go on an off very easily. The metal ends are riveted on, not screwed on so you cannot take the end off and slide the plastic in there. The other negative, they are not as bright as I had expected. I replaced a two bulb florescent and it's a tad brighter, but not much. Nothing fancy....no motion sensors or anything like that. In retrospect, I may have purchased some track (Amazon has 30' for about $25) and a 15' string of LEDs (about $10 at Aliexpress), and a $20 transformer. For $55 I would have been able to do the over heads and some undercabinet lighting.The positives.........nice appearance, very lightweight, enough predrilled holes and conduit knockouts to mount it in various ways. I installed the end of the unit over the electrical box and put a screw/anchor into the ceiling for the other side.

Bought 2. 1st one was received with one end slightly bent. Easy to correct. Otherwise, easy to install and great light in both garage and closet.

Very bright and easy to install

Much brighter yet easy on the eyes, I replaced 2 ancient florescent tube fixtures which were dimmer and their flickering gave me headaches. Only way these could be better is if they had a white shield to conceal/protect the electrical feed coming into the fixture so you don't see them through the lense. I made my own. Other than that is a great product.
