The light quality is acceptable but the hardware is the lowest possible quality. The molly bolts all snapped off inside the ceiling drywall before even getting snug. If you purchase this item, avoid aggravation and profanity by repurchasing molly bolts from a big box or discount store before you start installation. Anything you can buy local will be better quality than what they provide.

Brightness is good and was easy to install, now to see how long it will last.Some mentioned that they can see the electrical wires through the diffuser cover. And yes this was true so all I did was use some white duck tape and taped the wires to the metal base plate covering all the wires with the white tape and now they are invisible :)

I bought this to replace our florescent puff that was over 20 years old. So installation was pretty easy. The amount of light this unit put out is wonderful, our kitchen is small and this fixture lights it up. The florescent always left some shadows. Now I can see everything.
