To the review about the wire cover....the connection should have been made inside the electrical box in the ceiling and then the light mounted.

Very bright, was perfect for my closet and laundry room. Good color for those rooms, easy to install. Very light but decent quality. Wires in as a standard light would, does not plug in it is hard wired. Good buy for the money and looks nice.

I bought this light to replace a mini-fluorescent fixture in a closet. It was relatively easy to install; drill a few holes for mounting screws, connect the wiring, and snap the cover in place. I'm delighted with how bright it is -- much brighter than the fluorescent fixture. Although this is just a closet, I wouldn't hesitate to install one in a larger space like a garage or workroom.

I replaced a 4 ft 2-tube flourescent in my kitchen. It installed easily in the same place. The light output is about the same, but I am still adjusting to the change from warm white (4000 K) to the neutral color (5000 K). Also, I discovered that my ceiling was painted after the old fixture was installed, which left part of my ceiling unpainted.

I purchased this to replace a 24inch fluorescent light in our pantry. This one is way brighter than the old one, and the light is nice shade of white. It's not yellow like the old incandescent bulbs, and it's not so high on the scale that it's blue. All of the lights in my house are daylight LED bulbs, and this one has just a hint of more yellow than those.Installation was easy enough. Pull the old light down, wire this one up, and secure it to the junction box. My only complaint would be that the screws provided for mounting the light to the junction box have a small head. I had to use a small washer on each to keep it from pulling through the hole. Other than that, it works great.Careful not to drop the clear cover/diffuser like I did. It fell about 5ft and a corner cracked off.
