I had a florescent fixture, in my laundry room, when I bought my house. The bulbs started to fail so, I replace all of my light fixtures with LED. This worked amazingly well. It was easy to install, it is MUCH brighter than my florescent fixture was and it uses less energy. Bonus!

I bought this light to replace a mini-fluorescent fixture in a closet. It was relatively easy to install; drill a few holes for mounting screws, connect the wiring, and snap the cover in place. I'm delighted with how bright it is -- much brighter than the fluorescent fixture. Although this is just a closet, I wouldn't hesitate to install one in a larger space like a garage or workroom.
